We take great care with all your dietary needs, food allergies or intolerances. Please inform our staff if you have any food allergies. We will then help you put together the right menu. Our chef can then also prepare your meal with all due care. Unfortunately, cross-contamination in our kitchen cannot be ruled out 100%.

We accept cash (Euros), debit card (Maestro), credit card (Visa Card and Master Card), dinner gift voucher and of course our own gift vouchers. For parties and meetings we will prepare an invoice, provided that this has been discussed at the time of reservation.

Would you like to spoil someone with an original gift? Give a voucher of Ambrosijn as a gift. A gift voucher can be ordered online on this website and is also available at the cash register.

Our restaurant can accommodate up to 50 people. We have attractive arrangements for groups of 25 people or more. For large groups, advance reservations are required.

Pets are allowed in the restaurant, on condition that they are kept on a leash and do not disturb other guests. In consultation, you can be assigned an adjusted seat.

In the hotel suites pets are allowed after consultation (surcharge of €35.00 per stay).

Advance booking for the restaurant is not required, but recommended. Especially if you wish to dine with more than four persons. You can make online reservations here.

Our restaurant is accessible by wheelchair. However, there is no disability toilet.

Unfortunately the hotel suites are not wheelchair accessible.

In the summer our restaurant has a terrace with 120 seats.

In general, our terrace is non-smoking. Still smoking? Please ask for an ashtray.

Cars are not allowed on Schiermonnikoog. The best way to get around here is by foot or by bike. There are two bike rental companies.

The crossing between Schiermonnikoog and Lauwersoog on the mainland is carried out by Wagenborg Passagiersdiensten. The ferry service takes about 45 minutes, the express service 20 minutes. The ferry harbour is located at 3.7 km from the restaurant-ice cream parlour-hotel suites Ambrosijn.

On arrival at Schiermonikoog electric buses are ready to take you to your destination. The closest bus stop only 28 metres from Ambrosijn, on the Langetreek near the Burgemeester van de Wormstraat.

For groups of about 30 people or more, the entire restaurant can be reserved for a private meeting and/or dinner.
